Updates from the Industry Track

First off, a reminder that the paper submission deadline for the
Industry Track is February 20, less than a month away! Please see the call
for papers for more information.

Now for the exciting news: we will have two keynote speeches
in the Industry Track program, by Daniel Marcu and Mari Ostendorf. Both
speakers have worked in industry and in academia, and have first
hand experience applying their research results to practical
applications. Daniel Marcu was the co-founder and CTO of
LanguageWeaver, which was subsequently acquired by SDL. He is now the
director of MT/NLP at Amazon. Mari Ostendorf is a professor in the
Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Washington. She
led a team that won Amazon’s inaugural Alexa Prize last year.

We are sure that both of speakers have invaluable insights to share with us based
on their experience, and are looking forward to hearing from them. We
hope you are too!
